Imagine by John Lennon...this very much sums up my idea of religion and spirituality- The idea of openmindedness and compassion for all is lost on many- how can a "Religion" be about love if it does not love unconditionally......

Weddings,Civil Unions and more
I am an ordained member of the clergy of The Church of Spiritual Humanism.
As a clergy member I am delighted to perform weddings ,civil unions, baby naming ceremonies,baby blessings, vow or commitment renewals, life dedications,funerals,hand fasting ceremonies, solstice and equinox ceremonies,meal blessings, building blessings and dedications, invocations or any other service that you might need. I function just as any member of a traditional church would function- Spiritual Humanism encourages the use of traditional ideas with in the larger framework such as the lighting of a Unity Candle -with the exception that I am non-denominational and non-discriminatory.

About Spiritual Humanism
A religion based on the ability of human beings to solve the problems of society using logic and science.
Most people need a religion to help guide them through life's challenges and difficult moral decisions.

While it is impossible to remove age-old traditions from human culture, Spiritual Humanism seeks to redirect them by redefining their underlying significance and meanings.
Spiritual Humanism is natural, not supernatural. By using a method of scientific inquiry humans can define the inspirational divine spark inherent in all living creatures.
Spiritual Humanism does not require its members to perform any particular practices.
It recognizes that each person's spirituality has to be developed individually. Spiritual Humanism encourages everyone to draw upon whatever religious traditions and behaviors are most appropriate for their own unique situation and background.
